Two are better than one

Words cannot describe the joy your children have brought me. As you know I got Jake, Amboss son, in 1995. He was absolutely the best! I live in Buckhead, an Atlanta neighborhood, and all the kids used to come over and play with him. It was so funny to see Jake running around and playing with kids half his size. He was a true gentle giant. When I took him to Auburn’s Small Animal Hospital to repair his ACL the Orthopedic Director said he was the most beautiful rottie with the best disposition he had ever seen. And he has been there 20 plus years. Of course that does not surprise Von Evman owners.

When Jake died in 2004, I said I could never love another dog like I loved him. As you know I flew down and got Hank, Champ son, a couple of months later. Wow was I wrong. How can you not love these big babies? He is wonderful. I help raise money for the Auburn’s Vet School, and I drove down to show Hank off. They are just amazed at your dogs, and how beautiful they are.

To keep Hank company I got Hannah, Jockey daughter and nine months old, right before Thanksgiving. I quickly learned the two are better then one. Hank and I both adore her. Hannah is my first female dog and will not be my last. I recommend anyone with a Von Evman rottie to get two. It is so much easier on me, and they bring me twice the joy. Hank is so in love now that he can’t stand it J He is a pushover.

Eve thanks for raising God’s creatures that are so beautiful and sweet. All glory should go to Him in all we do and have.
